I adore autumn. The leaves start to change, the weather gets a bit cooler, there is just something special in the air. Plus, it includes Thanksgiving, one of my favorite holidays. It’s basically the Olympics of food. Holiday or not, there’s nothing quite like cozying up on a chilly day in a warm sweater and fuzzy socks with a yummy bowl of soup. Here are some delicious vegetarian soup recipes you should be sure to try this season!
It’s been a couple of months since I began this “joyful journey” of mine, so I thought it was about time to reflect on how things have been going. Overall? Fantastic. This is not to say that there haven’t been bumps along the way, but looking purely from a selfish standpoint, this journey is off on the right foot.
I really had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started blogging. At first, I thought it would just be a great way to document the things I love and what I enjoy doing, show others that it’s truly possible to get out of the day-to-day routine to make/find/spark/encourage joy, etc. These things are both true. What I hadn’t prepared myself for initially was how much I would love this process! I have so many ideas and so much energy surrounding this project. It’s been a (good) challenge trying to find time to do it all! I’m excited about new possibilities — learning InDesign so I can make printables, downloads, etc; developing online courses; possibly venturing into offering webinars. There really aren’t limits here!
